Emergency Doula Skills workshop uses downloadable video modules that guide participants through skills for safe births in remote/post-disaster settings. The curriculum covers breathing techniques, visualizations, journaling, music therapy, affirmations, and prenatal exercises. Labor topics include pain management, acupressure, massage, baby repositioning, breech/back labor management, herbal support, labor positions, rebozo/birth balls, water birth, and postpartum care. Students provide equipment: blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, thermometer, rebozo, doll, human model, and computer with video recording. Each section has quizzes and hands-on exercises with private instructor assessment sessions.
